Σύνοψη:This is an exploration of the psycho-spiritual concept of moral injury (MI) in public school settings. Many teachers enter their profession responding to a sense of call to do good and yet can encounter situations where they are expected to do and support actions that they think might be detrimental to the youth in their care. This piece argues that insight can be gained by considering this a form of MI. The essay argues that MI ought to be included in teacher training programs and be part of the ongoing support of teachers finding themselves in morally injurious contexts.
