Description
This article examines what we call selective ecumenical connectivity of three afro-Pentecostal migrant churches, embedded in local church landscapes of Germany and Switzerland. In spite of Pentecostal and megachurch family-resemblances these churches are by no means a homogenous entity. They form ecclesial structures of high empirical complexity whose ecumenical perspectives are widely unknown. This exemplary study reveals a local, regional and transnational diversity of ecumenical relations, which will also concern non-Pentecostal or mainline churches more and more.
