Description
Summary:The author looks for an explanation as to why otherwise excellent students often receive in their final exams comparative low grades for the written sermon plus description of the path to the sermon. Grading a sermon is a difficult task. Literature advice given to students tends to overlook the fact that the presentation of such a path to the sermon differs from actual stages of preparing a sermon. The question is also what can be taught in the preparatory classes. The author discusses possible solutions to these challenges.
