Summary:In contrast with the 1970s, the phenomenon of church pastors is today no longer be viewed as an ambivalent key problem, but rather as the stable and ideal "key profession". Other examples of the current loss of reality in a pastor-centered church are outlined. In contrast to this the author highlights a number of challenging transitions in church and pastorate that are currently actually taking place.
