| Summary: | En théologie morale, le rapport aux normes a évolué au cours de l'histoire. Au tournant de la modernité, la période casuistique montre une nouvelle manière de se rapporter aux normes du fait de l'avènement de questions nouvelles et de circonstances historiques inédites. Le cas de l'assurance maritime ou du prêt à intérêt est symptomatique de cette réinterprétation des normes traditionnelles dans le cadre d'une délibération entre théologiens. Il montre aussi la variabilité du rapport aux normes selon les systèmes moraux adoptés. Sa pertinence pour aujourd'hui se manifeste au sujet du lien entre doctrine et pastorale, de la prise en compte d'une logique du probable, de l'importance du récit et de la délibération collective dans le discernement des situations complexes. In the realm of moral theology, the attitude toward norms has evolved over the course of history. At the dawn of modernity, the period of casuistry demonstrated a new way of relating to norms with the advent of new questions and new historical circumstances. The case of marine insurance or interest-bearing loans is symptomatic of this reinterpretation of traditional norms in the context of deliberation among theologians. It also reveals how attitudes toward norms vary according to the moral system adopted. The relevance of this topic for today is seen in the link between doctrine and pastoral care, the integration of a logic of probability, the importance of narrative, and collective deliberation in the discernment of complex situations. |
