| Итог: | La asamblea del Sínodo de Obispos sobre los jóvenes, la fe y el discernimiento vocacional puede encontrar en el derecho canónico algunos elementos que resultan de gran utilidad para algunas cuestiones. En esta conferencia se aborda, desde una perspectiva histórica, tanto el papel que los criterios de idoneidad están llamados a desempeñar en el discernimiento de las vocaciones sacerdotales, como la importancia de la distinción entre el fuero externo y el interno en el camino hacia el sacerdocio. Canon law may offer some promising insights to the bishops assembled for the Synod on young people, faith and vocational discernment. This paper provides an historical overview of the role that the criteria of suitability ought to play in the discernment of priestly vocations, as well as the importance of the distinction between the external and the internal forum on the path to priesthood.
