| Summary: | This article tries to seek in the CIC a normative grip of the requirements of the freedom of speech and dialogue that, as citizens of a free and democratic community which they come into our way, questioning and challenging us as a faith community which should not be surprised by the requirements, considering it all in the obedience frame to whom is has been entrusted the service of the authority in the Church. In other words, we will consider the possibilities that the Chruch's Law offers us when it refers to the dialogue and to the freedom of speech in ist roots. At first, we will stop to comment about the different conciliar texts that make the sources of which the legislation will appear into the reality which we are dealing, to continue afterwards with the analysis and the comments of the canon 212 of the CIC, a reference and exercise frame of the obedience duty to the authority, on one hand, and on the other, of the duty rights of dialogue and freedom of speech of all the faithful people.
