Although Paul is not as explicit with the power structure as in the Deutero-Pauline letters, the germ can be found in this epistle. I reveal that these ideals influenced Paul’s writing, and numerous aspects of the letter are best understood within the Greco-Roman framework of proper hierarchy in the home. | ||
