Description
Summary:This paper presents the argument that sustained, in the West Indies, first the slavery of the natives and the later the trafficking. In this analysis of the forces at play, they put in dialogue Bartolomé de las Casas, as the advocate of the Indians, and Francisco de Jaca together with Epifanio de Moirans, as to see how, a century later, these authors keep using identical arguments to achieve these goals
