Description
Summary:This paper focuses on a recent decision of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI that transfers to a new office created at the Tribunal of the Roman Rota of two special competences that until nowadays have been entrusted to the Congregation for the Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. Beyond a merely administrative reorganization, this may has meaningful consequences. In line with this, some suggestions are made to cover certain regulatory gaps that exist in current regulations and to increase the procedural rights of those who have to act in this proceedings. Finally some comments are given on the formal aspects of the Motu Proprio and especially on the provisions related to its promulgation in the papal act
