Summary:The Apostolic Constitution Anglicanorum Coetibus represents the latest and maybe one of the most controversial developments in the relationship between Anglicanism and roman Catholicism. The Apostolic Constitution is the juridical means by which the Anglicans unhappy with recent initiatives taken in the Anglican Communion may enter collectively into full communion with Rome. It foresees the erection of the ordinariats, a category equivalent to dioceses but which are not mentioned in the 1983 Latin Code of Canon law. This article describes the dispositions of the said constitution, in particular those which lead successfully the integration of the faithful in the Latin church and those; which allow them keep elements of their ancient tradition, an judges the way, that the laws of the Anglican church may be used either to hinder or make easier the departure of those who wish to enter an ordinariat
