Summary: | Comprehensive ecology, such as Pope Francis presents in Laudato Si', adopts a clear attitude to education. In view of the challenges we face today, the aim of this article is to offer ideas about what could be thought of as a life-affirming religious education, that is, a life-affirming education that promotes sustainable relationships between human beings and between human beings and creation. An evangelising education that reveals the face of the Creator God will enable us, ultimately, to achieve a new form of thinking and logic that is more human and more respectful of the diversity of creation. |
