| Résumé: | The starting point of this essay is the messianic title 'Lamb of God', attributed to Jesus in the New Testament. Supported by the work of the anthropologist, René Girard, we link his concept of the 'people crucified', with this title, 'Lamb of God', finding understanding through this of the axiom developed by Jon Sobrino, 'Outside of the poor there is no salvation'. This is not to be considered as a displacement of Christian soteriology but rather as enlarging and historically deepening it. |
