| Summary: | Die feministische Relecture von Paul Ricoeurs „Das Selbst als ein Anderer” verfolgt eine doppelte Absicht: Zum einen klagt sie ein von Ricoeur vergessenes Thema ein, nämlich „Das Selbst und seine geschlechtliche Identität” und macht deutlich, an welchen Punkten dieses Thema in Ricoeurs Reflexionen sein Platz haben könnte. Zum anderen markiert sie die Rezeptionsmöglichkeit von Ricoeurs Abhandlungen durch die feministische Philosophie, und dies am Beispiel zweier Themenbereiche: der Subjektphilosophie und der Ethik. Hinsichtlich der Subjektphilosophie ließe sich mit Ricoeur für eine kritische Wiederaufnahme des Subjektbegriffs innerhalb feministischer Philosophie plädieren, und dies unter den Gesichtspunkten der Integration der Leiblichkeit und der Offenheit für das andere des Selbst in das Subjektverständnis. Bezüglich der Ethik ist Ricoeurs Versuch, deontologische und teleologische bzw. univeralistische und kontextuelle Perspektiven miteinander zu verbinden, zentral. Von dort her ließe sich auf der Basis einer kritischen Rezeption und Fortschreibung von Ricoeurs „Kleiner Ethik” auch gegen die sogenannte „Zweimoralenthese”, also der Behauptung der Existenz einer genuin männlichen und einer genuin weiblichen Moral, argumentieren. The feminist re-reading of Paul Ricoeur’s “Oneself as Another” has a double aim: on the one hand, it highlights a topic that the very Ricoeur has forgotten, that is, “Oneself and its gender identity”, and it elucidates where this topic could be inserted in Ricoeur’s reflection; on the other hand, it shows the possibility of the reception of Ricoeur’s essays by the feminist philosophy taking the philosophy of the subject and ethics as examples. As for the philosophy of the subject, it could be alleged in favor of a critical reception of the concept of subject within the feminist philosophy, considering the subject from the point of view of the Integration of corporality and the opening of the seif to other. As regards ethics, Ricoeur’s intention of articulating deontological and teleological perspectives, that is, universal and contextual perspectives, is fundamental. Thus, on the basis of a critical reception and an examination of Ricoeur’s “Small ethics”, it is also possible to argue against the so-called thesis of the two morals, that is, against the assumption of the existence of a genuinely masculine moral and a genuinely feminine moral. |
