Description
Summary:The relationship established by the famous English writer CS Lewis between nature and "the natural" make us think of Friar Luis de Granada as both authors concur in the quest for Happiness. Several critics, sucha as Lain Entralgo, agree on the Christian optimism of Fray Luis, who had an exemplary and coherent career with his life and work. The writer, with a remarkable influence of San Agustin and protected by the Spanish spiritual tradition, is characterised by the search for spiritual joy; joy that could well be relevant to our modern world. There are some thoughts on the existence of a "divine" literature and other possible meanings of it given the validity that this classic literature should have in the present. The reader will also enjoy the pleasure that comes from the literature itself.
