Description
Summary:From the very beginning in the history of interpretation one can find the reference to days being understood as long time periods in world history. The idea of days as long time periods in modern times finds its basis in the desire to harmonize the biblical account with the modern geological chronology. The exegetical results from Gen 1 presupposes ordinary calendar days.
