Description
Summary:The new theology proposed here is based on the conviction that is under the terms of "being transformed" that the reality we seek becomes available to us. This theology looks to persons and world, being shaped by the divine power or causalitiy at work in space and time, and therefore goes by the name of "Transformation Theology". Since this kind of transformation is the domain of the Church, it is also a theology which foresees a new kind or relation between Church and theology; or perhaps better, a new intensification of the ecclesial vocation of the theologian. Transformation Theology attempts to separate the doctrinal affirmation of reference to the present Christ from the cosmology in which it is clothed: to place the whole spectrum of modern culture, with its reductionist explanations, at the feet of the living Christ
