Description
Summary:For the last thirty years or so bioethics has been imposed as the adequate moral sphere to cope with biomedicine. This article tries in the first place to show the contrast between the bioethics project's ambition and the weakness of its moral relevance. Its moral formalism and its dualistic anthropology bring negative consequences on the respect of human life. That is why in a second part are proposed both a rereading of a unified anthropology's foundations and the opening on ethics favoring communion among persons. In the medical field, such ethics confirmed by the biblical Revelation can develop within a covenantal approach.
