Description
Summary:Ther framework within which scholarly journals are published has changed enormously. How can these journals survive under the circumstances? The question should be posed in a deep and radical sense: How can the humanities, the social sciences, and theology preserve their scholarly character in the face of an overwhelming number of publications and in a time of post-modern relativiy? Suggestion: By developing.schools' of thought that work out elaborate proposals which are then systematically confronted with those of rivalling schools. Journals could develop their profile by serving one of these schools.
