Description
Summary:This essay studies some issues of the baroque which reveal it as a "culture of the image" that shows "representation" as one of its most important dynamisms. The hypothesis suggested by the author is that the idea of "sacrament" as a "sensitive sign of grace" had great influence on dimensions of the baroque including its most secularised expressions where it appears as a kind of "ontologization of representation".
