Description
Summary:This paper informs about some trends, problems, and new approaches in recent Peter research. Bothe the focal points of recent monographs on Peter and some results of synchronic approaches like narrative criticism are demonstrated. Further, the currently prevalent view of Peter as an ecclesiastical centrist is emphasized, which does, however, not preclude the possibility of a specific interest in Peter, thus, in this sense, a "Petrine tradition".
