Description
Summary:The presentation of the subject, preceded by an Introduction, where is presented the Thomas' concept of the heresy, evolves around three points: 1 - Exposition end confutation of the christological and antitrinitary errors of the Monarchianism (Ebion, Fotin and Sabellius); 2 - the subordinationism (Arius and Macedonius); 3 - the Manicheism. The author examines the texts of Saint Thomas' Commentaries on the Saint Paul Letters regarding the topic of this research. The reading's method of the Bible and the christological character of this Thomas' work permits him to present an equilibre synthesis between the Bible, the patristic tradition and the theological speculation. All this permits to the author to conclude that the confutation of the antitrinitary heresies here presented by Saint Thomas Aquinas is very rich and remains valid and topical.
