Description
Summary:The problem of christian affirmations linking together elements seeming in contradiction as like "universal" and "concrete" is a permanent challenge to reflexion and discourse. How is it possible to unite such affirmations showing that the reality lies above human conception and imagination being in the same time theme of human thinking and speeking? Here different propositions to resolve this question are examined and the history of this debate is presented in order to serve the philosophical and theological discussion about the possibility to explain the universal significance of the concrete person of Jesus Christ.
