Description
Summary:Pastoral ministry is often the theological place where discussions happen that are representative of more global questionings and tensions. Those last years, in the context of Evangelical Protestantism, pastoral ministry has undergone several developments and redefinitions. Three of them are studied in the article: (1) The models used for the construction of pastoral ministry – and the pastor-theologian vs pastor-leader debate; (2) the theological training of pastors, both largely approved and under discussion in relation to its form; (3) women’s pastoral ministry, accepted by several denominations during the last 25 years
