Summary: | This study analyzes all references to acts that have juridic effects in the canons on the sacrament of marriage. The A. organizes them in six categories: liturgical acts, non-jurisdictional public juridic acts, acts of the power of governance, private juridic acts, acts that are juridic facts, and illicit acts. These six categories are also applicable, to a greater or lesser extent, to other areas of canon law, both Latin and Eastern. |
