Sumario: | Bernard Lonergan’s account of moral consciousness in Method in Theology develops his earlier account of the will in Insight. The three aspects of volition discussed in Insight, the will, willingness, and the act of will, are transposed in his treatment of the fourth level of conscious intentionality in Method in Theology. The author contends that this transposition enriches and yet remains consonant with his earlier account. |
