Resumo: | The author discusses the belief of Jesus Christ's postmortem evangelism by preaching to the dead after descending into Hades. Through the exegesis of the bible verses 18b-20a and the verse 6 of 1 Peter 3 and 1 Peter 4 respectively, he presents some interpretations of that belief including that Jesus Christ descended between his death and resurrection, that he preached in spirit through the biblical figure Noah. The author also notes references to the interpretations in 1 Enoch. |
