Description
Summary:In Jer 42LXX, 9, a local adverb illustrates that the Rechabites being in Jerusalem look back on the fact that they have built no dwelling-houses during their previous stay in the Judean territory. The local adverb is only in the Septuagint. Was it added during the tradition of the Vorlage of the Septuagint, or was it already in the original text of the pericope and it was lost during the tradition of the longer text in the book of Jeremiah?
