| Summary: | This chapter concentrates primarily on the German-speaking theological research; since it is precisely in this language area both needs clarification on terminology and even massive need for research in the field of reception history. It throws a spotlight on the mainstream of research history; more clearly can be seen that the reception history of the Bible, not only in exegesis, but in the entire cultural tradition is included. The chapter demonstrates three forms of publication: of works that explicitly want to research history writing, to thematically relevant journals and theses on Doctoral and Habilitation. If one looks at the most comprehensive single-volume history of research of the last century, Hans-Joachim Kraus,History of the historical-critical study of the Old Testament, first published in 1956, expanded in multiple editions, it is clear that Kraus namely the so-called "historical-critical" researched the history of sciencehasaccessto exegesis. |
