Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The author examines the basic promises of Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Janism and attempts to demonstrate their implications for the social co-existence of these religions. He points out that fundamentalism arises out of insecurity and not assurance and the feeling of insecurity on the part of the upper-caste Hindus arises out of an apprehension that they may lose their leadership of the (Hindu) community as a result of social changes in India.
