Nachdem er den Kreis der inkardinationsbefugten Strukturen dargestellt hat, geht er auf die generelle Anknüpfung der Inkardination an die Diakoenweihe ein. Er zeigt die Spannungen im geltenden Recht bei den Zuständigkeitsregeln und im Verhältnis Inkardinationsrecht - Weiherecht auf. Der zweite Hauptteil betrifft die Inkardination "tamquam clericus" in bestimmte Strukturen. Zunächst wird die Relation zwischen Inkorporation und Inkardination aufgezeigt. Dann geht der Autor auf die Probleme um den "Ordinarius incardinationis proprius" ein, die sich bei Oberen ohne weiherechtliche Kompetenzen ergeben. Weiteres Problemfeld ist die "fiktive Inkardination" bei Säkularinstituten. Die Relation zwischen Exkorporation und Exkardination ist ein weiterer Fragepunkt.
