| Summary: | Angesichts einer disparaten Forschungslage untersucht der Artikel die Form und Funktion der vierunddreißig Zitate mit Informationen über die Monarchien von Israel und Juda, die in 1–2 Könige aus drei Quellen gefunden wurden. Klärend ist ein Blick auf die Verwendung von Quellenzitaten im antiken Mesopotamien und Ägypten sowie die grammatikalische Darstellung der Zitate im Bibeltext. In light of varying assumptions and arguments about them, this article examines the form and function of the thirty-four citations found in 1–2 Kings of three sources containing information on the monarchies of Israel and Judah. By looking to the use of source citations in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt, as well as the grammatical presentation of the citations in the biblical text, we will assess the intention of the historian of 1–2 Kings to mention these sources. Cet article examine la forme et la fonction des trente-quatre citations trouvées en 1–2 Rois de trois sources contenant des informations au sujet des monarchies d’Israël et de Juda. En examinant l’utilisation des citations dans la Mésopotamie et l’Égypte anciens, ainsi que les caractéristiques grammaticales des citations dans le texte biblique, nous établirons l’intention de l’historien de 1–2 Rois. |
