Description
Summary:ARRAY(0x556220680c48)
In 2017, publishing houses flooded the market with new publications on Martin Luther and the Reformation. On the shelves of the bookstores sit ambitious scholarly works alongside masses of trivial Luther literature. This essay presents an initial evaluation of the literature in the following categories: Luther biographies, new emphases in Luther research, histories of the Reformation, long-term consequences of the Reformation, catalogues and lexicons. The essay concludes with a discussion of open questions and research perspectives.
