We discuss this reading and defend an alternative whereby the moral category of sin is the final target of purification and the notion of ransom, life given in death in place of another life, is key for understanding atonement in Hebrews. Moffitt a récemment proposé une interprétation d'Hébreux où la purification est comprise comme une victoire de la vie sur la mort, et où la rédemption est effectuée par la vie de Jésus ressuscité parvenant dans le sanctuaire céleste. Nous discutons cette lecture et défendons une alternative où la catégorie morale du péché est finalement visée par la purification, et où la notion de rançon, une vie offerte par la mort à la place d'une autre vie, est la clé pour comprendre la rédemption dans Hébreux. |
