| Summary: | O presente artigo apresenta uma pesquisa sobreo que a instituição católica entende por piedade popular, tendo como base o Diretório de Piedade Popular e Liturgia, para em seguida, abordar o tema piedade popular mariana, com suas características próprias, como sentimento via cordis, exuberância, expressividade, vitalidade e caráter maravilhoso, e analisar a postura do catolicismo oficial, diante dessa maneira de vivenciar a fé. Posto isso, pesquisou-se o culto mariano, tendo como horizonte a exortação apostólica Marialis Cultus, de Paulo VI, que contém orientações, como bíblica, litúrgica, sensibilidade ecumênica e antropológica, para promover uma genuína reforma da veneração a Maria. This article presents a research about what the Catholic institution understands by popular piety based on the Directory of Popular Piety and Liturgy, and then to address the theme of Marian popular piety with its own characteristics as: sentiment via cordis, exuberance, expressiveness, vitality and marvelous character, and to analyze the attitude of official Catholicism in this way of experiencing the faith. After this the Marian cult was investigated, taking as its horizon the apostolic exhortation Marialis Cultus of Paul VI, which presents orientations such as: biblical, liturgical, ecumenical and anthropological sensitivity to promote a genuine reformation of the veneration of Mary. |
