Description
Summary:"How would humanity have lived if Adam had not sinned?". This is the theme developed by Francisco Suárez in the fifth book of Tractatus de opere sex dierum. According to the thought of Doctor Eximius, the question contains in itself the solution, namely that Adam's archetype and the man immersed in time do not differ from them and that, as a direct consequence, both of them may be added to other similar ones, inthis way them allows each individual to achieve a purpose and a greater perfection. The Archetypal man is not unique but multiple, and in its multiplicity, it differs, as it does with the pre-fallen man. Therefore Francisco Suárez analyzes both the theological antecedent, according to the divine creational act, and the political foundation of the human community, the necessary consequence for the man formed in such a way.
