Summary: | In an empirical study the types and contents of religious learning were investigated and 17 items were identified. Life relevance, existential questions, mystagogical and social-welfare-oriented dimensions of learning, and the concept of questioning religiosity were used in addition to existing items by Bucher. Differences were found between religious affiliations (Roman Catholic, Protestant, Muslim), respondents' perception of the religiosity of their upbringing and proclivity to read holy texts. Religious learning was explained up to 61.8 percent by religious affiliation, number of household members and proclivity to read holy texts. (English) |
