This article pays hommage to the Dominican Claude Geffré (23 jan. 1926 - 9 feb. 2017). He influenced theological research by a hermeneutic of the incarnation, finding its application in a theology of religions refusing to confuse the universality of Christ, the incarnate Word, with Christianitys temptation of inclusivist imperialism. |
