Description
Summary:The study of Christian social practice is a field of academic study that is under development. The field needs to feed from several older fields of study. The aim of this ar ticle is to point out the need for integrating gender theory and gender studies into the study of “Diakoniewissenschaft”. This is urgent because social care is a highly gendered area even though gender has hitherto been surp risingly invisible in the academic study of this area. The author argues for the integration of both gender and theology - and the combination of them - into the development of “Diakoniewissenschaft”
