Summary: | Nowhere is religious pedagogy confronted with such a high degree of heterogeneity as in RE in vocational schools. Here, often students with various different worldviews and from different religions and denominations study together. How can it be possible in this context to conceptualize confessional RE? By addressing this question, the article at the same time tries to show that RE at vocational schools constitutes something like a laboratory for experimenting with heterogeneity that is highly relevant for the future of religious education.
