Sumario:Oliver Davies’ Theology of Transformation holds unusual promise for constructive Christian theology and spirituality. This essay describes Davies’ understanding of God’s effective presence in the world, exploring some of the ways Pentecostal theologians might draw on the riches of his account of the divine presence, as well as raising a few questions about the assumptions, limits, and aims of the Transformation Theology project in general.
