Description
Summary:This article explorers the Qur’anic, philosophical, and socio/cultural foundations of Muslim youth work, as well as Muslim youth work praxis. This research rest on three categories of source material: 1) an examination of key published and unpublished source documents, 2) a comprehensive review of international and country specific Muslim websites, and 3) extensive personal interviews with key Muslim youth work trainers in the UK, Canada, and the US. This paper concludes by suggesting three positive challenges for Christian youth work done in the presence of a robust Muslim youth work.
