Description
Summary:The article relates the encounter of Jesus Christ with a Canaanite woman which is told in the Book of Matthew. The woman, who is a Gentile, had asked for Jesus' help because her daughter was suffering from demon possession, but Jesus said that He was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel. He told the woman that it is not right to take the children's bread and give it to their dogs, which pertain to Gentile abuse, but the woman said that even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table.
