The second dream serves as an exposition of a narrative thread in the Joseph Story regarding Joseph’s character development, a narrative thread that ends in Gen 50,19 where he explicitly distinguishes between himself and God. Le deuxième rêve de Joseph (Gn 37.9) ne se limite pas à une simple répétition du premier. Il présente Joseph comme un rêveur fantasque devant lequel les astres s’inclinent, rhétorique habituellement réservée à Dieu seul. Ce deuxiéme rêve expose un fil narratif développé autour de la figure de Joseph, dont on retrouve l’épilogue en Gn 50.19 qui marque explicitement la distinction entre Joseph et Dieu. Josephs zweiter Traum (Gen 37,9) ist keine inhaltliche Dublette zum ersten Traum, sondern zeichnet Joseph als Phantasten, vor dem sich sogar die Gestirne verneigen müssen, was sonst Gott allein vorbehalten ist. Der zweite Traum dient in der Josephsgeschichte als Exposition der Aussagelinie, die von Josephs Wandlung berichtet, die in seiner Selbstunterscheidung von Gott in Gen 50,19 gipfelt. |
