Socrates' record (Historia ecclesiastica V 8) of the Second Ecumenical Council (Constantinople 381) seems to be influenced by a document forged in favour of the see of Constantinople. In Historia ecclesiastica V 8,14 one should read πατριαρχίας, not πατριάρχας.
