The results showed that all respondents were to some extent involved in counseling activities, used primarily Rogerian theory and non-directive techniques, worked mostly with individuals and dyads, had short-term contacts, and most frequently dealt with problems related to traditional pastoral functions and life meaning. Respondents saw their ability to help as due primarily to personal characteristics and their spiritual perspective. Satisfaction with training was low. Results also raised several questions that merit further investigation.
