| Summary: | Este trabajo analiza la respuesta institucional de la Unión europea (UE) ante los actos de intolerancia y odio que sufren las comunidades de musulmanes, cristianos y judíos actualmente en europa. Tiene como doble finalidad valorar la idoneidad y eficacia de dicha respuesta y si ésta se produce de manera similar en los tres tipos de intolerancia. asimismo, se analiza tanto la normativa reguladora como las medidas de naturaleza diversa adoptadas por las instituciones comunitarias a la hora de combatir la islamofobia, antisemitismo y anticristianismo. Finalmente, se ofrecerán distintas recomendaciones, a la luz de otras organizaciones europeas, como el consejo de europa o la Organización para la seguridad y la cooperación en europa (OSCE), con el objeto de mejorar la respuesta comunitaria. This paper analyses the institutional response of the european Union (EU) to acts of intolerance and hatred suffered by the Muslim, Christian and Jewish communities currently in Europe. The aims of this paper is to assess the suitability and effectiveness of the eU response and if it is done in a similar way regarding the three religious types of intolerance. Likewise, this paper focuses on both the regulatory acts and the measures of a diverse nature adopted by the EU institutions in order to face islamophobia, antisemitism and antichristianity. Finally, different recommendations will be offered in the light of other european organisations, such as the council of europe or the Organisation for security and co-operation in europe (OSCE) in order to improve the response of the EU. |
