In diesem Artikel argumentiere ich, dass es für die Sicherung der kategorischen Sollgeltung und der Autonomie der Moral nicht notwendig ist, auf dieser Identität zu insistieren. Vielmehr ist es ebenso möglich, von religiösen Gründen zur Befolgung moralischer Pflichten motiviert zu sein, ohne damit den Ansatz einer ,Autonomen Moral' zu gefährden. | ||

However, it remains unclear whether subscribing to this approach also implies subscribing to the necessity of 'Autonomous Motivation', i. e. the claim that the reasons which autonomously justify a certain moral norm must necessarily be identical with the reasons which motivate a person to act according to that norm. In this article I defend the view that this identity is not necessary to ensure the categorical binding force of morality. Rather, it is also possible to be motivated by religious reasons to follow moral obligations without abandoning the project of an 'Autonomous Morality'. | ||
