Zusammenfassung: | The article deals with the relevance of anticipations of death in modern systems of society. It makes relevant normative implications and mechanisms of control a subject of discussion. The unfolded argument is that the understanding of life and death has to be considered in its reciprocity. The theology of the cross provides the hermeneutical impulses. The task of ethics is to focus more detailed the chances and risks of media productions of death. Moreover there is the need to formulate critical reservations against exaggerated images of human dying in dignity and a human responsibility for the shaping of the own death. |
