Das vorliegende Bändchen (weitestgehend textgleich mit dem 1985 unter dem Titel "Perlenlied und Thomasevangelium" erschienenen Buch derselben Herausgeber) stellt - mit ausführlichen Einführungen und Kommentaren - einige Texte aus dieser Überlieferung vor, von denen besonders das "Thomasevangelium", eine Sammlung von Jesusworten ungesicherter Herkunft, Interesse finden dürfte.
